Yep definitely. Maintaining good technique on the terminations too is important. Lots of surface area and solid mechanical contact. Those mili-ohms can really start sneaking up on you.
It's a light, so milliohms are probably not a big issue. But poorly soldered joints can work loose over time.
Soldering should be done right.
