Notes seem to indicate felony charges. However, a lot will depend on whether he is tried as a juvenile or as an adult. However, the Red... site seems to indicate that information may be kept confidential for juvenile defendants, so there may not be a lot of information about the criminal case. That is, unless he was remanded to an adult corrections facility once he turned 18.

However, the Red... site also indicates an ongoing lawsuit as of a month ago, apparently against the parents who authorized the use of the pickup. Case number: CV22-05-0462 in Waller County
