Seems to me, the battery for a 200 mile range would weight 60-70 lb. I don't think most riders would try and transport an ebike like that with a hitch rack.
It would most likely serve as a mode of transport instead of being transported.
I do most of my riding from my driveway, rarely transport my bike to a ride anymore since COVID.
Call me anti-social, but I don't need to take the risk of riding with others to enjoy cycling.
If I meet other riders along my ride, that woks just fine, no need to transport a bike to the start of a ride, participate in the ride and then transport my bike back home.
