agree - garden sprayer is great to use if the bike is covered with mud etc

I’ve used them for years on dirt bikes and off road bicycles

but if the bike is primarily covered in dust etc - a dusting cloth will work well

after going over the frame, wheels, components, whatever with a dusting cloth - you can also wipe off the chain *** with the cloth ... they are amazing for cleaning a bike

*** the brand / type of chain lube can come into play here
