So I started riding my ol' cruiser. Heavy 1 speed coaster brake. Lately I wanted something better but not knowing what. So instead of spending a bunch of money I ordered a hybrid online. I've had it about 2 weeks and jump on it nearly every morning. Bought a little GPS unit(Meilan Mini GPS) to see how far I was riding. Best so far was 11.53 miles. Had to take a day off after that ride. I've rode 8-9 miles daily after that rest day.
Today I rode to the library. Returned some books(glad I put my rear rack on and a small bag). Then finished up at 8.33 miles.
Wish I could post a pic but can't yet. I'm 69 and enjoying myself. I'm also enjoying reading your posts
Hope to post regularly,
Lee
Welcome, Lee!
Today, my girlfriend and I drove up to Minnewaska State Park in New York and took her Surly Long Haul Trucker and our new Bike Friday All Packa for a loop of Lake Awosting. Good times and some beautiful views!
