You probably don't need to clean the pads. You might want to clean the rotors with rubbing alcohol. The alcohol will remove any oils and contaminants on the rotors. The alcohol dries fast and does not leave a residue. Pout a little on a clean rag or towel and wipe the rotors a few times.
