It is safer than laproscopic surgery for tubal ligation in women (cutting the ovarian tubes) which is essentially abdominal surgery and runs the risk of adhesion formation and future small bowel obstruction,
YIKES! My doc never told me about that when he brought the subject up. I asked about possible side effects and he passed the procedure up as no big deal, does thousands all the time and no problems. Needless to say, I still haven't made up my mind about permanent birth control...and after reading your post, I find I have some things to think about and more research to do. Sorry, I've strayed (not spayed ) from the original post...oops.
