When I was in college our women's basketball team went to the finals. There was a nice friendly bonfire in the street in front of my dorm, burning a nice big banner that said "F--- DUKE". Some people helped by requisitioning the furniture from the downstairs lounges for fuel. The scar in the street remained through grad school. When the fire truck arrived the crowd moved off to the football field, where they were tear-gassed.
