That ain't C&V. That's just "an old bike". You need something with 8 speeds or less, downtube shifters, and, if you can manage it, non-aero brake levers! Mrs. Peel here is the perfect C&V ride, except for the clipless pedals, but I'm to old to try and relearn Clips'N'Straps!
