So Pizza Man, what were you doing before you got into cycling? Seems like you wil go from CAT5 to CAT2 in one season which is really fast. hehe...curious what sports you were involved with before
We have a lot of racers around here, so they rarely combine Cat 3 with Pro/1/2 (except in the 35+), but they do combine them at some of the smaller races.

I was a runner for 20 years before I started biking late last summer. I think a lot of guys have successfully made the transition from running to cycling. The toughest part for runners is not the physical, but the mental aspect of cycling. There is very little strategy or technique involved in running, but so much in cycling that I'm sure I'll be learning for many many years to come. But that's what makes cycling so much fun for me right now
