I have three sets of Impacts. Two ,Mag ti's, each have about 15,000 miles on them. I have a new set of basic Impacts for my weather bike that have 1,500 miles on them. None have any play or slop. Never did. The pedals are serviceable but luckily I have not had to open them up so would not be able to advise how to fix. Love em.
