Spacers can compensate for different bottom bracket shell widths, but there is no practical way to change the tread (a.k.a. "Q factor") of a Hollowtech II crankset.
If you were to do what you propose, you would be reducing the spline engagement of the left arm by 6 mm, which would almost certainly result in failure of the connection between the arm and the spindle.
You might want to consider Kneesavers instead.
