Whyte PSRT1 ride report
I took the rig out for its first real single track test today, and I can say I was very pleased with the results. This thing can climb like a mule and takes the downhills without any fear of poor handling. The fox floats will take some tweaking to get the best setting for dry, rooty tracks. Having an X-0 set up is a bonus, as the shifting was smooth as a baby's bottom. Finding hills in Hamburg is a difficult task, but I managed to locate a decent downhill run with some roots and coping stone drops. Wearing the wrong shades made these sections all the more fun. I also tested out some new Race Face Flow 2 gloves and a Camelbak Scorpion, both birthday presents. Was good to have the comfort of the gloves and the on demand water. The Chris King freewheel noise ceretainly gets the walkers out of the way too.
