Dorado vs Travis

I need a new freeride and down hill fork. There are so many options right now(888,66,travis,shiver,dorado,40rc2,monster t) i cant possibly decide. Anyways, I was wondering about the Dorado/travis. I keep hearing that the dorados were the best dh fork ever made etc... Manitou also says that the travis is even better than the dorado.
What I want to know, is the travis actualy better than the dorado? If so , than I can take the dorado off the list of possible forks.
I want a fork that doesn't require a ton of mantainece. I have heard that the doradoe require a ton of work for them to stay working right. If this is true, than I don't want them (I want a set it and leave it fork).

If anyone has expeirience with either, or knows the answer to a question, please respond. I guess I will take suggestions on other forks too.
