I don't understand, do you want to pedal longer, or coast longer?:confused:

It is recommended that you keep your cadence above 60rpm (minimum). Many riders, including myself, keep thier cadence between 90rpm and 100rpm.

I think you should pedal more than coast.. The experience is better..

And I think you will tire your muscles more if you pedal then coast several times than just pedal a steady pace(at same speed).
