Getting tired of the greased piggy feel, and skin damage is getting more priority again.
I hate that diagnosis: "basal cell carcinoma"

so, this is getting more important.

--Sunscreens increase cancer

Notes_summary

-- in sunlight, avobenzone degrades and becomes ineffective within about 1 hour

-- In 2001, the National Academy of Sciences published a comprehensive review showing that the omega 6:3 ratio was the key to preventing skin cancer development.

-- safest screens are those with Titanium dioxide or zinc oxide

-- supplement diet with 800 IU of vit E

-- limit sun exposure between 9am and 3pm

-- ozone thinning does not account for increase in skin cancer rates

-- UVB causes DNA and cell damage

-- UVA is both good and bad. It generates Vit D and also increases sagging, wrinkling, leathery texture, and blotchy discoloration of skin

-- SPF only measures UVA and not UVB.

-- SPF is a guessimate and not accurate. Should be renamed sunburn factor for better understanding.

-- revision of SPF standands is supposed to be completed within next 12 months, but some expect this process to continue for years.

So back to my original question, any experience with an excellent SPF shirt for cycyling?
