You may just need to put more tension on the spring. It's basically just a bar that rests on a pin on each arm to bring the pads back out. YOu may jsut have to pull it out from behind the pin and bend it out to add more tension. There is also a screw to do this but doesn't do much, it's more for fine tuning.
+1 If it helps, I just mumbled some hocus pocus sounding words and waved my arms around a bit. My coworkers think I am nuts. Go check your brakes and see if they work better now. If they do, please do not have me burned on a stake.
