The bulk of my miles are in my commute to/from work - with my most common route it is 14 miles to work, and 15.7 miles home (I take a different route home because of traffic conditions). When I do a recreational ride I tend to do a loop which will give me the total mileage that I am looking for, but gives me a variety of scenery.
