Ironic timing injury

well I've been waiting for the ski-lifted mountain bike park to open up, even called the manager, the official start date was July 1. so today being my first day off in a long time, i woke up early to pack up and head to the mountain... but my left ankle is swollen to the size of a softball and hurts pretty bad, so i went to the emergency room instead (i also have heart issues, so i was fearing a clot or something) they said I somehow tore a tendon and should be off of it for at least a month, maybe 2. so now I have to try to recover as fast as i can before the park closes for the summer. still don't know what i did that tore it though, i hadn't be en on any trails for over a week. and my work is pretty sedentary..
