The axle opposite the adjusting plate is 5mm. You can use an allen wrench to hold it if you need to adjust the wheel out of the frame.

Don't have my wheels in front of me... I don't understand how/what you hold with the allen wrench. The opposite plate? Mavic didn't provide any instructions with the wheels, other than to say 'take them to the shop.'
