well to be fair...realize that most places aren't as compact and concentrated as nyc. sure, here you can walk from one place to the other and get there... most other places i've lived, walmart is 20 miles from home, and the denny's is 3 miles past that........ sorry, but no one in their right mind would walk 24 miles to go to dennys.
