Not suprisieng amd has sponsered many cycling teams they even sponsered a few events here in ohio over the years. Intel has done this as well in the past so has ati and even nvidia and matrox.
Seen a sag wagon once last year with the amd and ati logos both on the side and this was for a simple tour and not even a race.
Too bad they didn't sponsor TOC or any teams that participated in it, one of the stages was right by their headquarters.
