I was just wondering if anyone has been mugged or approached in a malicious way while on a commute. It seems that bikers would be more susceptible to this than drivers, but less so than pedestrians.
On a related note, does anyone carry protection with them when they commute (pocket knives, pepper spray, retractable nightstick, etc)? I guess in an emergency you could always woop ass with a u-lock.
