We left Puerto Escondido and cycled a day to a tiny beach town called Mazunte. The scene here was even more laid back than in Puerto. This was a place you could spend two weeks in and not even realize.
I spent six months of my life on those beaches in the early 80’s! You are right, time just seems to drift by without you ever realising it.
