I was not so lucky the last time I got stung by a bee. The airflow of my helmet deposited it on the base of my neck where it promptly stung me. The pain wasn't excrutiating but it did... well... sting. At least it wasn't a yellow jacket. Many years ago, I got stung on the inside of my mouth. That one really hurt.
