These "lifestyle" centers used to be called...DOWNTOWN! our smalltown is in process of starting a dowtown revitalization, I hope it works. The area is not exactly high income
I work on a few of these centers (not by choice, belieeeveee me!) They are a PITA and most of them ARE NOT accessible for cyclists, at least not the ones I have seen. All they have leading into them are multilane, high traffic count roads and in many cases off ramps from freeways
I have taken to doing most of my shopping on line and avoid the crowds.
