Lightweight shoes?
I am looking to find the absolute lightest weight shoe to change into when off the bike (I wear LOOK style cleated road shoes).
Anybody know of a real featherweight?
For instance Hush Puppies used to advertise their slogan "pound a pair". But a few years ago I bought 'Coasters' which weigh 0.7 pounds (found in a serve yourself Payless shoestore), and need to find something like them again.
By the way, in my experience adding common lightweight urethane insoles from a drugstore makes the absolute lightest and flimsiest shoes strong enough in the sole to walk over stones or hot pavement.
