Has anyone used a HABERNEROS Ti for touring?

I am (still) investigating how to replace my current touring bike (a mid-90s Gemini Randonneur), and one of the options on my shortlist is getting a customised Haberneros titanium bike. Yesterday I went and checked out a friend's Haberneros titanium road bike in Canberra - it is a thing of beauty, comes at a competitive price, and I have heard only positive comments about the company and its proprietor. I also know that Hab have done some custom touring bikes in the past.

Before proceeding, I am wondering if anyone on BikeForums has had experience touring on a Hab? If so, what type of Hab (and what type of loads), did you make any changes to their basic road frame design and tube thickness, and what would you do differently if you were getting another (assuming you would)?

Thanks in anticipation for any feedback,
Tom
