overpriced?! I paid $1800 for my Dawg Deluxe. Find a bike with a similar level of components (all Deore and XT, Fox FLOAT R rear shock, Marzocchi GrandFondo 1 fork, hydraulic disc brakes by Hayes, etc etc) and see how much it will cost you if its made by TREK or SPECIALIZED.
Kona bikes always come with a very high standard of components for the price.
