Kona bikes always come with a very high standard of components for the price.
I just did alittle research in the Hardtail area in the price range of my Trek 6500 brand new with stock components and here, and this Kona is actually 30 dollars cheaper than the Trek. I think that there pretty competetively priced Kona Caldera msrp $899.00
