Yeah, I've always been alittle weight concious when I can afford it. I figure that if most of what I do is agressive XC, why settle for 32lbs when I can get the bike down to below 30 (a good % is in rotating weight) w/o comprimising my bikes ability to handle my style of riding.

I mean seriously...I've never dropped anything taller than 5' to flat. I think that was with my LX cranks to boot.

Regarding my Saints...I dunno. I was thinking about trying to get in the neighborhood of $115, but I also thought about keeping them to build a FR hardtail. I would freeride if I had proper equipment. I just don't wanna huck big stuff on my Dakar XLT frame with a rear shock and fork that don't even have compression adjustments. I would consider it if I had a Vanilla RLC fork with DHX shock so I don't bottom out. As it stands, to keep from bottoming out...I need so much preload that casual riding and agressive XC is uncomfortable.
