Point taken. Rest assured that I am going to buy a helmet and plan on wearing it all the time. My question really pertained to rides on small roads with little or no traffic, where I will not be going fast, or in parking lots where there are no cars, etc. Basically, just wondering if it's OK to get the bike out of the garage, drive it a few houses down and turn around and come back without the helmet or if I will be ticketed for that.
