I was off the bike for almost the entire time I was in college, both for the BA and for the teaching credential. I promised myself I would get back to exercising after I graduate and I did. I've got bad news for you, though. After you get your teaching credential, you'll have 2 more years of mandated studies (equal to about 32 units of college) before your credential is cleared. It sucks, but as my professor always said "if you can't handle it, you could always try law or medicine"
