OK, so I'm a little late on this, but I heartily second what Spanners said. I got my Waterford Adventure about a year ago, and I have never been happier with a bike in my life. It fits me like I was born riding it, and the workmanship is simply superb.
What I like about this bike is that it does a number of things well, thanks to the gearing I ordered and its ability to handle a wide range of wheel sizes. I mainly wanted a custom bike because I am quite short and I couldn't find a production bike that would both fit me well and serve the multiple purposes I had in mind. I have used it for touring, quick training rides, and lazy meanders along unpaved country roads, and it performed well in all cases.
It's probably not quite the thing for racing and it's definitely no MTB, but as an all-around versatile road bike, it's a champ.
