Another Easy ride which still kills the legs cus I'm out of shape.
Previewed the new 'Ontario' crit course, which is 12 miles from my house. I like it, 1 slight hill to make it harder for the linebackers and give the skinnier guys a slight tactical advantage. October 15 ferret would have a good showing on this course....ah the good ole days....

I'll probably race, and get crushed but it'll be a $30 donation and a good training session. My wife will be photographing the event. I just got her a professional SLR for XMas and she plans to run a sports photography site.

I really overdid it on New Year's Eve, and the day after I was hurting in a way I haven't in probably 20 years. I'm never doing that again.
Still feeling off today. Did 2x20s and they were so hard, way harder than the 3x20s I did on Wednesday. I'm officially too old to party.

4:15 today outside, z2. definitely feeling the efforts i put in earlier this week.
breezy, but all in all 35F and sunny is a pretty damn nice day this time of year.
have you dremeled the dropouts on the new bike yet?
i find that doing an easy spin when hungover helps to get rid of the "ugh" feeling. granted, i didn't do that yesterday and probably should have.

Made up for a sort of monobuttocked effort yesterday (1:15 or so outside punctuated by brunch, beer and a latte, another hour inside) with 3:38 of Z2ish action today. Rode most of it with a teammate and couple other local bike folks. Saw Mikey headed the other direction at one point.

You forgot to mention the best part of your ride today.

current week: 760tss, 14.5 hours, 267 miles, 16.5k climbed and a race tomorrow for which I will be thoroughly trashed. @mattm skipped out on today's race ride in which I would fall too far back and contest for best of the rest at the sprints.

90mins with 5x10min efforts between 96-99% i'm actually riding with cadence in the low 80's, as it seems I have a lot easier time with these efforts at lower cadence for some reason
