90mins 80TSS, getting back in the saddle finally, was too tired last night to want to do anything. also ran 1.5 miles (intermittently, sorting through some technical stuff with the apple watch), did 3 .5mile intervals, averaged 6:47/mile pace in two sets where my data were captured.

2 days easy after getting wrecked on Saturday, so I woke up early for the group ride (wich was thankfully not quite tear my legs off fast), and a ride to work.

Finally started to not feel like crap about 3 hours into the ride haha. And now I've been super tired all day. Idk how I stayed awake through that meeting. I need a good 10 hour nap.

I ended up doing 2 rides yesterday, did the early morning group ride before work then did a night ride up south mountain with friends. It was a long day that started at 4:30 and got done at 9:30 with a 10 hour work day in between rides. I work from home on wednesdays so I was excited to sleep in today and not ride, however I was wide awake at 530!

10' intervals on the schedule today. really suffered. wanted 5 of them but totally blew up 8.5 minutes into #4 . still got 25' worth of vo2 work in though, so not a total loss. guess my legs were more shredded after yesterday than i expected.

268 TSS - SOLID! Definitely can't wait for the weekend to put in some long ride hurt.

Another TrainerRoad grab bag tonight - focus has been on 3-5 minute power. Looking to work about 80 TSS

Still trying to wake up before work for an easy spin. Have been unsuccessful save one morning the past 3 weeks...

Out of curiosity: What time does a 4.5 hour group ride start at 'night'?

Clarification: Group ride was 1.5 hrs. This morning's ride was 4.5. 2 different rides. Sorry for the confusion.

After my 6th interval tonight, I happened to look down and see I was right at 666 kj. Immediate thought was Brian Johnson voice "Fiiiiiiiireeeee" \m/

3*20' on the rollers. i knew going in my legs were shredded but figured even if they ended up just being tempo intervals it was better than nothing. felt like i was holding back on the first one but still went a little too hard. thankfully all three were solidly in threshold zone. i'm so ready for an easy day.

3x8' @ threshold this morning. Have kind of slipped on the threshold work here of late, with more focus being on Vo2. Going to try and put in a at least 1x week threshold moving forward. Although after years of always being self-coached (with good success), I'm going to start using a coach here soon, so that may change things. Although mid-season I don't see a whole lot changing.

Hour and a half on the TT bike this morning. Nice easy spinning and staying low. Legs felt surprisingly good after the last couple days.

Just took the dogs out on the mtb for lunch. They'll sleep for the rest of the day. I'm starting them late this year. Dog 1 (pit/lab): threshold, Dog 2 (whippet/lab): Z2.

I'm riding solo this afternoon on the road, first time in a while.
