I have no plan. No idea at all. Last year I did like 80 and 70 hours in Nov/December. This year I have less than 80 hours combined. I don't feel particularly ready to jump into racing.

I don't think Knights Ferry made it onto the calendar this year. What's the scoop on the Bakersfield Stage Race?

I'll plan to race most anything that is flat until cat 2 points are attained. Then ease off and be selective.

I don't know. Director put it there. The typical RR coarse East of Bakersfield is fantastic. It IS NOT flat. I would assume at least one stage is that. I expect the other stages may be flat. May in Bakersfield can be triple digit temperature.

Pretty much the same as last year for me; first race is this Sunday (Early Bird crit) but it's a training race and not USAC. Well it is USAC, just doesn't count for anything/no prizes for cat 1/2/3's.

Cal Aggie crit is on the 30th, that's when the actual racing season starts. I bet it'll be cold this year! But hopefully dry at least.

Will do Chico again, if it's dry - no way I'm doing the 4mi gravel section if it's wet!! Or the slick race track course for that matter.

Probably San Dimas as well. Big maybe for nationals, out in Kentucky.

Besides that it's the usual race at least once every weekend from now until October!

do a lot of the weekly crit series. probably will only stick to races that are close (fort hood, houston, chappell hill, dallas) and focus on gaining experience, upgrading, and teaming up

I don't plan to race as much this year. I will do a couple of the AZ road races, Valley of the Sun stage race and if I do any crits, will likely just race in the men's fields.
I'd like to keep my fitness so I can try BWR (an event, not a race) in April and then hopefully carry some fitness into summer and race in SoCal.

I'm impatiently waiting for my schedules to be released (I want to plan some of my courses around race travel!). First up is the Hincapie Spring Series, then USA Crits Speed Week (first peak), then we'll go from there, finishing up with Crossroads series (second peak) and the Carolina Cup. We're hoping I can upgrade to Cat 2 through the spring series, and maybe get to Cat 1 by the end of the year.

Looking at racing in Tejas as much as in Louisiana this year. From where I live, Houston and Baton Rouge are equidistant, and there's a lot more racing in the Houston area. A big change for me is that I'm not doing Rouge-Roubaix this year, so my training will be different. My goal is no road races over three hours and lots more crits.

Not much is put up yet. I imagine I'll race nearly as much but will target less races. I held my form pretty flatly across the whole of last year and I'd like to try actually peaking for some events and focusing on being a killer teammate for others.

it's like having a conversation with a middle schooler and trying to find out which classmate they have a crush on.

I'll race basically twice a week from march into the beginning of September, with the goal of holding form throughout. With Nationals most likely off the table for me I plan to follow bikereg and go places there are races on days that work best for my schedule.

I know the answer. Is it supposed to be secret? Continuing the middle school crush analogy... maybe the team doesn't know yet.
