I don't understand the rationale for disc tt bike. is it so that the brakes work well in the rain?

My guess would be shared wheels on the amateur/rec level. By having disk road and TT it removes one more objection to overcome in the sale. It's a niche for sure, but if your going to develop disc anyway you might as well go all in.

well I can be pretty wet coming from the swim in a tri.. Iím kidding. For me itís consolidation . Iím already keeping the Enve 7.8 longer then any other because they will be my only rim brakes wheelset for a bit.
