I often do it like this too. I eat most food like this, saving the best for last.

yeah, I always do that as well. Used to scrape the cheese off my pizza, eat the slice crust first then just have a huge pile of greasy pizza cheese and pepperoni at the end to eat.

Any wonder how I got fat...

i think i need to turn in my CX card, I skipped doing a race because it's been raining, i can deal with the mud but having it actively raining while the temps continue to drop during the thing seemed like a recipe for a miserable morning

It only took 4.5 years, but I finally got the garage door opener built into my car to properly sink with my garage door. Now, only one garage door opens. Previously, no matter what button I pushed, both doors opened.

Did you try syncing it instead? Maybe that was the problem.

I changed the codes on the garage door after we moved in so that any stray openers not in our possession wouldn't work, and I had it all working, with both openers and the keypad.

Now the keypad doesn't work. Maybe I forgot the code I programmed.

Yes. There were three buttons to control up to three doors - my house has two.

I tried programming button 1 to control the right door and button 3 to control the left door. What ended up happening was only button 2 worked, and it opened both of them. Several efforts to reset it didn't work.

I gave it another go yesterday and it worked. Or, it worked for a few minutes with button 1 opening just the right door. Then button 1 started opening both doors.

As of this morning, button 1 only opened the right door. We will see if it still works when I get home from work.

(Note: the left half of the garage is dedicated to bike storage and bikes on trainers.)

It was a joke about your spelling.

Weird that it worked and then didn't and then did. Garage door programming seems to be pretty strange. I retrofitted a Genie IntelliCode system (I think it's called) to my old house that previously had no security features, and it worked well. The normal frequencies have a lot of interference, especially if you're near a military installation (there's an air base about 2.5 miles away from us now), and that retrofit system uses a frequency which is much quieter and has better range because of it.

I'd consider the Genie retrofit system, especially if your system is older.

Got fitted for my hearing aid today. Should get it in a couple weeks. I opted for the nicer one with the Bluetooth connectivity so I can answer my phone or listen to music directly through it.

Will you be able to wear it on the bike? For me, it would involve huge amounts of sweat and salt.
Also, I've heard some devices are affected by the wind. I ask because I've started thinking about such things.

And happy Thanksgiving to everybody.

Looking back at my four day weekend, I'm sort of surprised about how busy I was. From getting in my workouts to cooking to chores around the house.... (We did not travel for Thanksgiving.)

It's got me wondering, if I were to stop working tomorrow, how many days would it take before I run out of things to do? I think I could probably stay pretty busy for awhile.
