Horrible race today.

Today was the biggest crit of the year. I race junior 15/16 and today was the district champs. I have been sick for the last few days. Totally bombed it. No energy so I couldnt keep up when a junior who can race cat 2 kept attacking. Got dropped, lapped, then dropped again. *Sigh* And now for the road to recovery...

Sorry to here it but we all have bad days on the bike. Being sick really kicks your butt. No time to dwell in the past start preparing for that next race

Yeah..sorry to hear that. It happened to me yesterday too. Being unwell for few days and skipped my training. Without much preparation, i dont expect any good things. I know i`ll be drop behind and i was absolutely right. I was the last rider and ended up taking a ride on sweeper car. Anyway, good luck to you!

Hey we all have bad days... just go back out and do it better next time...

We all miss training, shoot I have not been on a bike since last Wednesday (graduation stuff). I am getting back to hard training this week (M W and F interval days).

Good Luck next time!

i know the feeling. i sucked at saturday's race here. got stuck in the wind on the front of the pack, some guys attacked to push the pace up, i wanted to respond but when i stood up.....nothing. no power. watched them ride off in the distance and not much i could do about it.
