Boonen Tour abandonment bode well for Worlds?
Anyone know if Boonen plans to compete at the Worlds in Madrid? Is he planning on doing the Vuelta like Petacchi? Perhaps his abandonment of the Tour will give him a little extra time to heal and prepare. I'd like to see him square off with the likes of Freire, Petacchi, and McEwen (if McEwen competes, which he didn't last year). This year's Worlds should be a great showdown among the sprinters.
