and retracts his statements... and freely admits he does not even know Armstrong.
He is also no longer the team physician for TIAA-CREF . My guess is that he and former USPS rider in the Tour in 1999 with Lance, Jonathon Vaughters, had a discussion.
The irony here is unbelievable.

He also said in the earlier interview he would likely quit working with cycling teams due to dismay at the prevalence and institutionalization of cheating in cycling, and so he has.
