New collegiate racing rule

Starting this spring: In order to race in the A group you must have a catogory 3 or better USCF liscence. Or you can have raced As from a previous season or you can race a minimum of 4 B races. No exceptions. I think this is all conferences but it is atleast the MWCCC.

Make sense. When I raced, if you weren't at least cat-3, you'd have no chance in As anyway...

it deffinitly makes sense, last year a C upgraded to a B after he "won" a race and wouldn't last more than 2 laps in a crit with them. In order to move up you now must complete 3-4 races.

^ As yet unverified by the the "current" rule book on USA Cycling or the 2006 Rule Change document that I've seen.

I haven't heard this. I don't think it's the case for the WCCC. I was able to start out in the Bs for my first road race (placed 3rd) and first crit (got 1st) this past weekend. I probably will stay in Bs for a while, but I haven't heard of any limitation on upgrades should I want to race in the As (I'll be doing TTT and ITT for the As this weekend).
