So Basso was on the list?

Anyone have the COMPLETE list?

It's interesting that Heras, Santiago Perez, Angel Casero, and Tyler were on the list... not to mention Sevilla and Ullrich.

Seems like the Spanish pros are the dirtiest of them all though.

well yeah. the spanish were real pu$$ies about their doping laws until recently. probably explains why so many pros - spanish and not - live there.

That's a very good point. Think Lance got his stuff from another doc in Spain?

Actually Ferrari was probably doing his program, but he probably got the raw materials in Spain.

so did tyler hamilton, in the same building basically

it would be pretty short sighted to think this thing is real diverse in nature I think, im sure a handful of people are probably supplying much of the peleton with drugs, thats the way it usually works with any drug, only so much room for so many "pharmacists" LOL, its like that everywhere with other drugs like cocaine, marijuana, etc etc

the DS's may be competing against each other, but they all know each other, many have raced against each other, they talk fairly frequently, its one big happy/dysfunctional family

Sorry, Lance did not live there in the off-season. Why would any of the US pros live there in the off-season? They live there during the season.

A lot of Americans were or are living in Girona Spain, Hamilton has a residence there, as does Lance, FLoyd was over there as well, I think Dave Z too? not sure.

Lance lived in Girona, Spain during the season. From what I hear he wasn't there very often. He had bought the entire bottom floor of an historic building. Tyler had a residence on the second floor and Fred Rodriguez has a seperate residence on the second floor as well. Dave Z and Floyd are roommates there. George lives in town as well as Levi. Tiaa-Cref has an apartment there for there riders also. Past residents include Jonathon Vaughters, Dylan Casey, Antonio Cruz, Damon Kluck and Christian Van de Velde.

They don't all live there because of Dr. Fuentes or lax drug laws. When some of the Americans started going over with Postal, the old DS Johnny Weltz began setting them up in Girona. There was good training and a good climate. It is also nice to be around familiar faces even if they are not on your team.
I believe Dave Z lived in Valencia his first year and then moved to Girona to be around other Americans. I don't believe Fuentes or anyone involved with Operacion Puerta had ties to Girona.
