I was there in person for that crash. Brutal, but everyone walked away more or less alright.

You should have seen the crash in the 4s on saturday though. Wow. 41 finishers out of probably 90-100 starters. I was right next to the first guy to fall, as we were going up the finishing straight with 2 or 3 laps to go. Absolute carnage. I've never before seen a yellow line rule put in place for a crit, but it happened there. Bodies all over the place as we were going by.

I didn't finish as well as I'd hoped; only had half the road due to the yellow line rule still in place. Tried to shoot a gap between a guy and the barriers, the door was promptly closed, and I had to lock up the brakes to avoid eating it. Oh well. I finished with my body and bike intact. Can't ask for much more in that situation.

Yeah, that was ours. And looking at that picture, and who's in it, I could probably guess exactly which team the rider belonged to that caused the crash.

I've heard it before from others, and I'll say it again: it pays to be at the front.

Wow, now I remember why I quit racing. Bunch of dorks with $3000 bikes who couldn't ride a straight line if their life depended on it.

Wow that's a big boy!

In the second crash pic the inverted thighs of the blue C'dale rider are what I'm referring to.

Hope nobody was right under him!

Kind of a silly observation but that boy has some serious hambones.
