OK, I just bought a pair of 2004 tubular zipp 404's in like new condition on ebay. Price: $840 after shipping. Its all done with but for other people who either have, shopped for, or just know about these wheels, do you think I got a good deal?

All depends on the condition. If truely like new then $840 is a steal. If they've got 8000 miles in them, and spokes are going to start breaking right and left then maybe its high. Time will tell. My bet is that if they're 2004's they've been used a bit, so you would expect a significant discount off new. Thus at approximately 50% of new, its probably a good deal, but not a steal.

I got some 404s that were from '04 with 600 miles on them last year for $650. I guess it really depends on the milage but I agree with Merlin. It seems about right.
