I signed up for Belmont-Piedra as well...too bad they got rid of the RR for most of the fields. I did the RR last year and it was a blast! (even in 40 oF weather with the rain and hail).

Who else is going??

I bought the Rudy Project helmet last year (got it at a great price)...but I will probably take the visor off.

do the same.

How many Metromint folks will be there?

I'm there...skandal20 is going and perhaps a few others, although I haven't heard much chatter about
it this week. I think there were at lot at Merco last weekend and so some might not be making the trip
back down. There will be more at the Menlo Park crit saturday.

How do you like that Rudy Project helmet? Any other people have this helmet? I have the opportunity to pick that one up through my team sponsorship for 117.00.

If it's a good helmet I'll probably pick it up. But for a little more $$, I could either get an LAS Cronometro or scrounge around for a Bell Meteor II on eBay.

Yeah I was there. That was a fun one. Chasing the lead group after the first climb, only to catch them at the bottom of the last one and holding on for dear life as we all flew up it. Awesome.

Well, just bought a Bell Meteor II, in the grey / black trim.

I was tempted to get the LAS though since it looks sweet. But I tended toward the Bell because I have a Sweep R right now, and the sizing is perfect.

And a tighter jersey perhaps; that one would flap about quite a bit.
