Me too. I'm always pulling for Zabriskie, so it'll be interesting to see if he's still got some passion for the sport, assuming his knee heals up properly.

Good point about the "mixed talent". They're kind of all over the place so far.

And as gawdawful fugly as their jerseys are (I know I'm in the minority here), I might just have to buy one.

I too am a big fan of their program and I like their jerseys.
I'd buy one if I still had a Felt. I've never worn a pro-team jersey and only would if I had the bike to match. I'm just OCP that way.

It pretty much had to be Magnus or Cancellara and Fabian would've been an odd move.

Last night I had a chance to talk with a rider from Slipstream who was out with our group on the Tuesday night sprint ride. We don't usually get to ride with pros, but for whatever reason he was out with us. I think it was to test out his new shoes. Anyway, the team is very, very, very focused on riding clean. And very, very, very focused on getting invited to UCI races.

And sure, pro cycling has gotten to a point where you can trust people about as far as you can kick a cheesecake underwater, but I believed him. I hope they do really well.

BMC sponsoring a team automatically makes them dopers, c'mon! I rather like Slipstream, so i'd prefer they keep their dopeless bike sponsor in Felt! Besides, they have Millar and Z, who are more of Time Trialists anyways, and Felt does good stuff in that area.

Now, they just need to get some Blackwell discs instead of those 100's...

But BMC does GREAT stuff in that area. I think this would be a good move for BMC, seeing as they haven't had much luck in the way of their riders riding clean. I think BMC could stand to benefit bigtime from a move like this.

Your not. I keep waiting for someone to bust out the golf clubs. Still not a goofy as the old team Carrera Jeans kit. Or that other kit (cant recall sponsor) that Fignon wore that looked like overalls and a t-shirt.

I love this team. The riders are great, their attitude is great, and they are progressive. Glad to see them go pro.

$90 for a jersey is pretty steep. Do we get a burrito or something with purchase?

All I know is I was emailing back and forth with their National Sales Manager about their S32/S22s (He hangs out on Slowtwitch) and we are in hiatus until he gets back from some "exciting" meetings in Denver.

Danny Pate has a better result than 5th in Dauphne? Wins in each of the grand tours?

And a better sense of humor?

This would be interesting since BMC is the title sponsor for another American team which has plans to do some races in Europe next year as well. They aren't planning on doing as many races or as big of races in Europe as Slipstream, so I guess it could work out.

Wait. Danny Pate is funnier than DZ?

That can't be, I want proof.
