Race schedule!

Well, buying a house, graduating from college, and planning a wedding take up a lot of my life but not enough that I can't race. My schedule for the season (tentatively) is as follows:
- February 18: Tradezone crit
- March 3/4: Navy Crit, TTT(hell yeah!), and RR
- March 25: Jeff Cup RR
- April 14/15: NC State Crit/RR

annnnd that's it for now. Here's to build weeks and peak weeks!

We're closing on our house offer that weekend. I know, bummer. I fought DAMN HARD for Hopkins and UMD but the significant other wouldn't budge. And my father said the best advice he could ever give me was "listen to your wife. she knows better."

yeah, but DAMN i want to go! UMD is like, right there!

Keep in mind that the list is just the collegiate team races. I'm still hoping to do some local MABRA races (including the Tradezone series, maybe Winter Solstice)

I wish non-collegians could race in the NC State races.

Nope, I'm going to mass. God blessed me with the ability and the means to ride, the least I can do is celebrate the biggest day in the liturgical year

One might argue that your ability to ride is best celebrated on the bike... Being that humans arbitrarily set the date, how do we even know Easter is on the right weekend?

Sorry, just my heathen ranting.

It doesn't have to be on the right weekend - I said the biggest day in the liturgical year, not the biggest day in God/Jesus's life.

Anyway, that day is reserved for family. Pete, go to your room. you're grounded.

Even though, as a Mountaineer, I consider Blacksburg to be a godless place, I'm pretty sure they have churches.

Not gonna do our hill climb eh? Well, I'm sure I'll run into you and your golden felt at some of those races. (I'll be the tall guy getting shelled off the back riding a black and blue LeMond)

The Knobbish Hill or whatever? I might make it out for that one, what are the characteristics of the TT?

Reddish Knob. It's quite long...can't remember exact mileage unfortunately. About 3500 verts. Numerous switchbacks, and a killer false summit where it traverses a saddle ridge. It is one hell of a great climb, but it is a beast. Come down for it if you can!

(I'm an awful climber and will be working the TT instead of riding it)

ps - Of course the roads will be closed, making the descent down from the peak very fun. It's pretty hairy when you know that a car could be around a blind curve, but with closed roads? Whooooo

Which categories do you guys ride?
I also hope to do VT; friends studied there and I really like Blacksburg.
