T of Cali predictions

So who will do what? Do you think the big boys will be going for GC? Or will Disco and CSC be riding for americans in the GC? Who gets Yellow, green, polka dot(is KOM polka dot for ToC?), white?

I can see it. Basso works for Levi here, but will expect Levi to work for him in Europe.

I'll pick Zabriskie though since I think he can win both TT's and CSC won't let Levi get away on the other stages.

KOM is red (no polka dot) jersey. How about Rasmussen? The climbs are probably too small though.

Levi gets the nod for overall but my dark horse is Michael Rogers... I think this is his breakout year. What do you guys think?

Well Zabriskie came out last year in top condition and still didn't win. He was really sharp early last year. This year he is trying to peak a little later, so I don't think he'll be in contention. Same with Danielson. I think it leaves Leipheimer and maybe Julich.

with the team they're bringing, Levi will take it unless he blows up spectacularly.

I'm hoping to see Levi win the Prologue and Stage 1 (Santa Rosa's his hometown). And then for Stage 2 see him ride down Capitol Mall with the Disco Train protecting the Leader's jersey. That's my early week prediction.

I'd be happy to see Levi win in Santa Rosa. Unfortunately, I won't be in California this year to watch that leg..

I predict that this year they MAY consider testing the riders for EPO. See my thread on this topic. Who's the Brain Trust running that event.

I wish... although unlikely... One of my favorite days was George in Yellow TDF 2006, that was great. I have a feeling however that he might be a one day guy from about then on..... Dave Z for the win is my pick
